Be careful who you let into your boat!

Do you think the people on the ship that Jonah boarded regretted his arrival. He was running in a direction that was away from God. Yes and we know that the story has a good ending and he repented of his ways and listened to God's calling on his life. But while he was running he was putting the other people on the boat at risk. They were being impacted by his choices.

Some of the people we allow on our boat aren't following what the Lord has planned for their lives. They have made choices that could impact you, your loved ones, and the direction God is leading you in. I am not saying that you only have to let the people in the boat that are in good standing with God, but stay connected to Christ as you go about your day. Remembering to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit in all things. John 16:3. This way if you are in a boat that is rocked by giant storms you will know you are in the place He has paced you.
